STAINLESS STEEL CORE
In order to make this suppressor as robust and durable as possible, we have fitted it with a stainless steel core. This ensures that the Sonic 45 is not affected by the high temperatures that arise when multiple shoots are fired within a short period of time.
Starting with the rear of the Sonic 45 there is a large pre-expansion chamber that telescopes over the muzzle thus reducing overall length.
It is into this chamber that the specially designed flame damper, with its self-tightening spiral flutes and gas deflection ring, first begins working on the superheated, supersonic gases.
After this initial expansion, the gases are then lead into the first of six baffle chambers. (You can choose to increase or decrease this number depending on your needs.)
The throat of each baffle has a steel insert to combat flame erosion ensuring long life. The insert’s angled face acts as an added gas deflection surface to further reduce the gases velocity.
